फैमिली ऑफ़ डिसेबल्ड संस्था द्वारा १९९२ से शारीरिक रूप से अक्षम लोगों को एक मंच देने के उद्देश्य से 'बियॉन्ड लिमिट्स' नामक कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की गई. इसमें वर्ष २००१ से प्रति वर्ष एक कला प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन किया जा रहा है, जिसमें देश के विभिन्न राज्यों के लोग शामिल होते हैं. इस प्रदर्शनी में ऐसे लोगों की कला को प्रदर्शित किया जाता है जो शारीरिक रूप से भले ही अक्षम हों किन्तु वे मानसिक रूप से कहीं अधिक सशक्त हैं. एक विशेष बात कि इनमें से बहुत से लोगों ने कहीं कोई प्रशिक्षण भी नहीं लिया है....

नच बलिये में नज़र आयी ये जोड़ी विनोद और रक्षा ठाकुर! विनोद के दोनों पैर एक दुर्घटना में कट चुके है लेकिन जीवन और उम्मीद से भरे विनोद के लिए ये कोई रोड़ा नहीं है जो उनके और उनके सपने के बीच आये और इसमें उनका पूरा साथ दे रही हैं उनकी पत्नी रक्षा!

ताहिरा बानो को प्रखर बुद्धि पुरस्कार

जनपद जालौन के गोहन कस्बे में केशव देव तिवारी महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ० राकेश द्विवेदी अपने पिता डॉ० दिनेश चन्द्र द्विवेदी जी की स्मृति में 'प्रखर बुद्धि पुरस्कार' प्रदान करते हैं. ये पुरस्कार महाविद्यालय के सर्वोच्च अंक प्रापक को प्रदान किया जाता है.
इस वर्ष ताहिरा बानो को आज प्रखर बुद्धि पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया. जनपद जालौन के अजीतापुर गाँव में मात्र तीन लडकियाँ ही स्नातक कर रही हैं....ताहिरा के अलावा नूर सबा और अफसर जहाँ गोहन के केशव देव तिवारी महाविद्यालय में बी०ए० द्वितीय वर्ष की छात्रा हैं.
समूचे गाँव के विरोध के बाद भी ताहिरा के माता-पिता ने उसे और इन दो बच्चियों को शिक्षा ग्रहण करने का मौका दिया. ये दोनों बच्चियाँ भी ताहिरा की रिश्तेदार हैं...जो उसी गाँव में निवास करती हैं.

दो बच्चों की जागरूकता

नया नंगल के 7 साल के अग्रिम व 8 साल के शौर्य को मार्किट में 20 रुपए का नोट मिला। दोनों साथ ही लगती नया नंगल चौकी में पहुंच गए ताकि ये नोट उसके मालिक तक पहुंच जाए। पुलिस वालों ने पहले यह सोचा कि ये दोनों बच्चे मजाक कर रहे हैं।

इसके बाद बच्चों ने उन्हें समझाया और कहा कि हम लोग झूठ नहीं बोल रहे हैं। इसके बाद पुलिस वालों ने उन्हें कहा कि वह इस नोट को अपने पास रख लें या इसकी चॉकलेट खा लें। दोनों ने अभी भी वह नोट अपने पास रखा हुआ है। इस संबंध में इन दो भाइयों की मां ने कहा कि यह सरकार की या अवेरनैस का ही नतीजा है कि बच्चे गुम पैसों को लेकर थाने पहुच गए। अग्रिम व शौर्य ने कहा कि मां ने बताया था कि अगर रास्ते में किसी की चीज मिले तो उसे थाने में जमा करवाया जाता है।
