India is not the only country with widespread sexual violence — it is a global epidemic. And then, there is Gulabi gang in India that is taking the law into its own hands to fight against men who abuse women. Why should this be allowed?

But then, if politicians, policeman, and others are acting like the law doesn't apply to them, what else can these women do besides protect themselves? The government needs to ensure that they protect women and stop sexual violence and provide a healthier environment to women.

फैमिली ऑफ़ डिसेबल्ड संस्था द्वारा १९९२ से शारीरिक रूप से अक्षम लोगों को एक मंच देने के उद्देश्य से 'बियॉन्ड लिमिट्स' नामक कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की गई. इसमें वर्ष २००१ से प्रति वर्ष एक कला प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन किया जा रहा है, जिसमें देश के विभिन्न राज्यों के लोग शामिल होते हैं. इस प्रदर्शनी में ऐसे लोगों की कला को प्रदर्शित किया जाता है जो शारीरिक रूप से भले ही अक्षम हों किन्तु वे मानसिक रूप से कहीं अधिक सशक्त हैं. एक विशेष बात कि इनमें से बहुत से लोगों ने कहीं कोई प्रशिक्षण भी नहीं लिया है....

नच बलिये में नज़र आयी ये जोड़ी विनोद और रक्षा ठाकुर! विनोद के दोनों पैर एक दुर्घटना में कट चुके है लेकिन जीवन और उम्मीद से भरे विनोद के लिए ये कोई रोड़ा नहीं है जो उनके और उनके सपने के बीच आये और इसमें उनका पूरा साथ दे रही हैं उनकी पत्नी रक्षा!
